When are lessons available?

The following weeks are open for lessons in 2026:
June 22 – June 26
June 29 – July 3
July 6 – July 10
July 13 – July 17
July 20 – July 24
July 27 – July 31

Where do the lessons take place?

King’s Grant in Richmond, Ontario.

What is the minimum commitment?

A minimum of five sessions is required. Sessions are scheduled at the same time each day, Monday through Friday.

What lesson times are available?

10:00am – 1:30 pm and 4:00pm – 7:00pm

Can lessons be rescheduled due to bad weather or other reasons?

Lessons run rain or shine. Individual lessons will only be rescheduled in the event of lightning.

How is payment handled?

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
Deposits can be refunded until June 15th, 2026. After June 15th, deposits are non-refundable.
The remaining 50% balance is due June 15th. An invoice will be sent prior to this date.
Payments are accepted via Interac e-Transfer.

Do you have change rooms?

Yes! We have an outdoor private change room available.

Are you open on Canada Day?

Yes! Lessons run on Canada Day.

Are parents expected to stay for the duration of the lesson?

Yes. Parents are asked to remain in the backyard for the full lesson. Comfortable, sun‑sheltered seating is available for you to relax and enjoy while your child swims.

What should you bring to the lessons?

Bathing suit, towel, goggles (if desired)

Will lessons follow the structure of ‘Swim City’ City of Ottawa lessons?

Yes. At the end of the week, you’ll receive a report card outlining the skills your child has mastered and the level recommended for their next steps.

Is the instructor CPR-certified?

Yes! Ryley has successfully completed Emergency First Aid with CPR‑B, as well as Standard First Aid with CPR‑C.
